Mike Thomas has been an educator with the Fayetteville School District for 24 years, he has taught 3rd grade at Happy Hollow Elementary, 5th grade at Washington Elementary, 8th and 9th graders at Ramay Junior High and currently he teaches Drama at the Fayetteville High School. He has performed his hilarious one man shows several times for the district at school Volunteer Banquets and Bus driver's Banquets. He helped create the role of Cletus in the series of Dupont Mississippi shows for Ceramic Cow Productions. Mike has also been published in 4 different acting anthologies which are used across the nation in public and private schools. He has acted in film and television while living in Los Angeles. Mike has acted in three full length films since he has moved back to Fayetteville. He has co written a one man show called "Bigfoot Love" and he recently completed a full length play with music about Arkansas History designed for elementary learners called "Digging Up Arkansas". He is also an active member of the local improv group, Phunbags! Mike's directing credits include Through These Eye, Enter Laughing, Center of the Universe, and Crimes of the Heart. He is graduate of the University of Arkansas with a B. A. in Drama, B. E. in Elementary Education, and an M. A in Secondary education. He is excited to be apart of such a wonderful and talented program.
